Made mainly for religious reasons and to strengthen Hatshepsut, a female pharaoh, also mirrored Mentuhotep II’s temple. The temple told the story of her life. Common identifiers were beards, timeless, and symmetry. Made out of sandstone, partially carved rock, and red granite in Egypt.
