20 h 27 m, 15 jul 1934 ano - Austrian Chancellor Dollfuss murdered by Austriain Nazis. In the resulting confusion Hitler was poised to strike. But Mussolini signalled his disapproval by moving Italian troops to the Brenner Pass. Hitler backed down and denied any responsibility for the murder of Dolfuss.
