Paris Peace Conference
- War Guilt Clause: Germany had to accept full responsibility for starting WW1. This justified the implementation of other terms. They had to pay 6,600 million pounds of reparations in instalments which equivalent to 96.41M kg of gold to pay for Allied losses incurred in WW1.
- Demilitarisation: Germany's army was limited to 100,000 men, 15,000 navy and 6 battleships. They were not allowed to have an airforce, tanks and submarines and purchase weapons and war materials.
- Territorial Reductions: 13% of her land (70,000km sq) was taken and re-distributed among the Allies. Their overseas colonies became mandates ran by Allies on behalf of the LON. 6 million of her citizens were displaced. Lost resource-rich regions such as Rhineland, Saar coalmines and Alsace-Lorraine. Not allowed to re-unify with Austria
