Johnny Depp's contribution to the recording possibly took place on this day as Elvis Costello had a prior appointment in Las Vegas and Johnny was visiting the studio.

The story is that the recording was going well but a guitar part was required - Elvis Costello was not available so Johnny Depp was asked to step in and help. They liked his contribution so much it remained in place and featured on the released album.
