Amber had already filmed The Rum Diary with Johnny Depp and could be attending this premiere to start receiving press via that link to Johnny. There is also a chance she could have been invited to attend in which case it seems odd and rude to garner publicity for herself bearing in mind she has films coming out ahead of The Rum Diary. There is also no evidence she actually attended the viewing and quite possibly it was simply a photo opportunity outside the theatre designed to hopefully raise her profile.
