6 jun 1944 ano - D-Day

Descrição:

On June 6th, nearly 24 hours after the attack was planned, the U.S., Canada, and Britain landed on separate beaches and launched an attack on the British troops who were occupying the coast of France. Although there were many casualties, the Allied Forces ultimately pushed the Germans back, both because of their superior air and naval force, and because the Germans had believed the attack would launch somewhere else. This secured the land around the beaches and marked a major turn of events in WWII. It's what led to the Allies liberating France from Germany's control.
