This phone call happened despite the fact there was a Restraining Order in place which prohibited such contact. The Metadata confirms the call took place on 15 June 2016 at about 5pm although we do know in which location - Johnny was probably on his island and Amber Heard was in LA.
Amber Heard is heard crying and saying, "I don't know how to get my reputation back."
Johnny Depp suggests they write a letter saying that they want to take it out of the public eye, and that the media has created "a hateful storm." Heard says, "Every ounce of my credibility has been taken... And done so in a dishonest way."
Depp asks her why she put "the abuse thing" out there. Heard then says, "I did not! Your team forced me to, by going on the offense... I promise!….. I did not choose this."
Heard says that she did not call the cops, or give them any statement when they came - "I've been trying to protect you." Johnny Depp says that Heard told iO to call the cops. AH: When? While it was happening? JD: Yes. AH: I'm sorry, but the last time it got crazy between us, I really did think I was going to lose my life, and I thought that you would do it on accident. And I've told you that. JD: I lost a fucking finger, man. AH: You can please tell people that it was a fair fight, and see what the jury and the judge thinks.
