Because people were transforming along with their views, fundamentalists preached that the words in the Bible were the foundation of everything and that this modernist view must end. Revivalists took control of the radio in order to spread their word on fundamentalism. They spoke against drinking alcohol, gambling, and dancing through speaking on the radio which brought about many listeners. Jazz music was another subject that was spoken against in these radio shows such as by Billy Sunday or Aimee S. McPherson.
