Sven and James Taylor see a mountain lion retreat into the underbrush. Later in the night the entire team is woken up by the sounds of it dying. Sven tracks it down and investigates and finds its corpse, dry and emaciated like Trinidad Rizo. Human-shaped footprints lead away from it.
