It's pretty clear that Sonja and Tim do not understand that the burden of evidence is low in the family court.

It's also not a "Stroke of Luck" that we weren't arrested. It's the complete opposite, we were hoping to have a criminal trial, and even stated that to our court attorneys. We felt if we would have been able to have a criminal trial we would have been able prove our innocence in a real court setting with a jury, and discovery, and real evidence rules.

It's obviously saddening to have gone all this way just to have our own family take an assumption from the state as plain truth. At the very least we were hoping to be a part of our own children's lives in any aspect or at a very minimum open it up to having pictures sent to us or art projects, updates about their favorite things or happy moments.

It is very important to us that this information isn't used to be upset with Sonja and Tim or to act negative towards them in any way. Our aim is to always have open ears and arms to communication and the willingness to forgive at any time.

Love can't win if there isn't any love given in the first place. Let US be the ones that display the love in hopes that it will be returned someday.

Our faith and our hope will never be completely lost. We will never fail to pursue our children.
