Director Keeley Gould talks about her short film Polarize:

“I often shoot scenes and stories and collect them like you would sketches and drawings, gathering to explore information ideas. I filmed these skaters in Albuquerque, where I came across the All Nations Skate Jam—a skateboarding competition for Native-American skaters.

“Months later I was working on a project that was using industrial large-scale event lasers. I spent some time playing with the lights and while doing so the idea of merging these two pieces of film together came to me.”
