The Battle of the Bulge was the German's last attempt to take the offensive against the Allied forces, as they tried to seize part of the Western Front that the Allies held. This went wrong for Germany and was a massive victory for the Allies. After this, the German's were mostly unable to push any further and were forced to defend and retreat for the rest of the War.
