During Archduke of Austria-Hungary, Franz Ferdinand’s and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Honenberg, official visit to Bosnian capital of Sarajevo, they were shot and killed in their car by a Bosnian Serb nationalist. This event would ultimately lead to a chain of events that lead to the outbreak of World War I.
