The Indian Removal Act 1830 -
Was forced on the Native Americans to move west of the Mississippi River and there were economic, political, and social issues among the removal like whites wanting Indian lands for farming and gold, American Indians couldn't maintain independent governments in the U. S. and many whites considered the American Indians uncivilized.
