Late in the evening of January 18th, Alonian troops converged on Dog Hill in Tristinople, 4/5ths of the army went on the offensive to attack the visible Tamsah Army in Trillium. Due to incredibly unfavorable conditions, this advance was slow accross the Atra sea. Suddenly, Tamsah troops appeared in Tristinople, at the same time the conditions worsened greatly, making any actions against them almost impossible. The majority of Alonian forces were then caught in these worsening conditions, unable to make their way to their Capital. However, the Tamsah troops in Tristinople were countered by the garrison, and a Tamsah conscript was found in the Tristinople Cathedral. The man had broken into a chamber of relics years old, and stole the first dragon egg. However, when he attempted to put it in his ender chest, he was unable to do so in part to an Alonian Banner that blocked his path. This crucial moment allowed an Alonian Soldier by the name of Kobi, Aufseher von Lyndonica, to kill the man. This man was then found to have in his possession explosives, and very primitive armor. This man had been sent by his commanders, taken from his peace, and sent to steal a holy relic, and blow up a church on a suicide mission; but was stopped by the Alonian Banner itself and a maverick soldier. After this initial engagement, conditions would make any further fighting impossible for the day and the Second Battle of Tristinople would end with the Alonian forces expelling the Tamsah from the city, and exposing their cowardly strategy. But not before a Tamsah division was almost intercepted making its way towards the wooden city of Hensworth.
