They find out Chaya used to be experimented on and that she grew up with Lucy. They also find out Luna has been a mind flayer and used to be Chaya's "mom." Luna and the Elder Brain are harvesting energy from the void and a bunch of cosmic ooze. The also find out Luna has been reading their minds the whole time. A battle ensues and Luna and the Brain die. The void gate breaks and a giant cosmic ooze appears. it continues to grow, while swallowing everything in its path including Luna. It is eventually killed. The livestream says another one appeared elsewhere. Chaya stays at the lab and everyone else goes to fight the other ooze. Thor dies in the process but they are ultimately successful. The livestream digs up one of Aurantia's old shitter tweets and is cancelled. Monte, Aurantia, and Craig walk into the void to explore.
