Founded in 1926, the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) was intended as an organization that would ensure the needs of others were met while building a network for social workers to address working conditions. Eighty five years later, CASW has developed into a federated organization representing social workers across the country. The national organization’s strategic directions demonstrate that CASW continues to maintain similar commitments.
