The muffin itself was from Costco, which is a international company that would not be able to thrive without globalization impacts such as economy and culture & society. The chocolate chips in the muffin were most likely produced in the United States from cocoa beans from Africa or Asia. Globalization allows for the transport of the cocoa beans through the impact of economy.
