*Because the white people took away the Africans will to live, the Africans decided to do something about it.* these slaves were fed up with being slaves so they decided to rebel. This very famous rebellion was known as Stono's Rebellion. in this rebellion, the Africans would kill any whites in their way, burn their property, and beat drums in order to attract other people to make their rebellion harder to deal with. They were headed toward Florida in search for freedom. They were on their way to freedom when the South Carolina militia stopped them, but the slaves made an impact on the way they would be treated and how people would feel about slavery for years to come.
