1978: Neil Allen, P, b. 1958. Graduated from Bishop Ward High School. Played professionally from 1978-1989. Won 58 Lost 70. 3.88 ERA career with 611 strikeouts and 75 saves as an effective closer later in his career. Allen coached in the big leagues finishing his career as pitching coach for the Minnesota Twins in 2008.
