Hong Kong's Chief Executive, Carrie Lam, said she hoped the dialogue platform could continue, but criticized the violence for reaching uncontrollable. When asked if the Emergency Regulations would be invoked, she said that if there was a Hong Kong law that provided the legal means to stop violence, the Hong Kong government was responsible for reviewing it.
