The Liberal Party, a pro-business political party in Hong Kong, organized a question and answer session on the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance, to which the Secretary for Security John Lee was invited. Liberal Party leader Felix Chung said the meeting had allayed the worries of some businessmen, but the founding president of the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association, Simon Shi, criticized Lee for not answering his question.
