Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council spokesman Chiu Chui-cheng said the government had reservations about the Hong Kong government's intention to hold conditional talks with Taiwan on Chna's case, stressing that Taiwan and Hong Kong should establish a mutual legal assistance mechanism under the principle of equality, reciprocity and dignity.
