Appeasement was a diplomatic policy by giving concessions to other nations avoiding conflicts. As countries thought as Germany was unfairly treated after WWI, developed this policy. When Hitler controlled Germany, he broke the Treaty of Versailles. Britain on the other hand didn't interfere as thought that negotiations could avoid a war. Adolf Hitler believed the territory, Czechoslovakia, that had been taken away after World War I belonged to Germany. In Munich, occurred the Munich Agreement, an agreement to transfer the Sudetenland to Germany. This negotiation was between France, Britain, Germany, and Italy.
