Schrodinger used math equations to figure out the probability of finding an electron in a certain position. This helped him to create the quantum mechanical model. The quantum model has an electron cloud where electrons are most likely to be. This was a big change because before Bohr said that they were like planet’s while Schrodinger said that they were almost like flies and they moved in waves. Heisenberg refined Schrodinger's model by saying that you can never know the momentum and location of an electron at the same time.
