1 jan 1938 ano - 3D Glasses/Film
Descrição:
3D glasses were first invented by Charles Wheatstone who used the principles of stereopsis to create the first 3D viewing device called the stereoscope. The machine was heavy and looked like a board with mirrors popping up from it. However the technology was amazing for the time
David Brewster improved upon Wheatstone's idea by removing the mirrors and making the lenses easier to view. This resulted in the worlds first portable 3D viewing device which was named the Lenticular Stereoscope. It looked much like a pair of binoculars which allowed for easy viewing for guests.
The first public 3D film was called The Power of Love and was released in 922. However it used the red and blue lenses that is famously known all around the world today.
Today, 3D is not commonly used to watch films and is seen more as a novelty to most people. You can buy 3D televisions, however they aren't commonly seen due to them not being a very desirable feature.
