All of the colonies except Georga came to a confrence to discuss how to respond to the Intolerable Acts. At the time, most colonists still wanted to be loyal to Britain. The colonists agreed on sending a declaration of rights to King George III. This declaration ended up being in much of the Declaration of Independence.
