During this interview, Louis finally admits that he is loosely “seeing someone” (Eleanor), but the interviewer talks about how he knows she’s a beard and he should admit that he’s actually dating the openly gay BBC host who has a crush on Louis.

The weird part about this though is that normally celebrities are trained to either say they are firmly with someone or aren't with someone. There isn't any of this "seeing someone" stuff that Louis pulls here. (Example: Selena Gomez calling Justin Bieber her little brother until they officially became a couple) so people thought it was very odd.
