Around 12 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were attempting to stop a vehicle that had been reported as stolen from Purcell. At least one trooper shot and killed Adam Hernandez. Details as to what precipitated the killing were withheld by police. Troopers Joe Kimmons and Clay Anderson were placed on leave.
