Waze was founded in 2007 by Uri Levine and is used to help people with traffic and directions with input from the community. In 2013, Uri Levine owned very little of the company, sold to Investors, and Google decided to buy the company. In 2013, Google bought it for 1 Billion dollars, most of the money going to investors, and this deal allowed Waze to come back from the depths, and be reborn with google touches, like voice commands and google maps companionship.
