17 abr 1695 ano - Anti-Catholic Laws
Descrição:
The ruling English imposed a very strict anti-catholic law against the Irish. This law stopped them from obtaining land, as well as barring them from immigrating to America. This change occurred because the ruling english wanted to suppress the Catholic religion. They viewed the Irish as a lesser race, and therefore felt the need to control them. They believed the best way to do this was to keep them locked up in a pen and by taking all their land.
