The lawsuit by the Oklahoma Wyandotte was abruptly dropped. In part this was a response to Federal legislation that, if passed, would have given the Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma the right to establish a casino operation at some undetermined location in Wyandotte County regardless of state opposition.
