America (the United States) was already angry with the Soviet Union. So when they we knew that the Soviet Union was in the war, we decided to join in hopes of taking them down. We also believed that if one Asian country would fall for the communism, then the rest would as well. So we started taking over to prevent that. Our goal was to stop the attacks on the Soviet Vietnam from North Vietnam and have peace again...
