some of the causes of the Weimar republic being formed were world war 1 caused Germany to go into economic and social disorder. Wilhelm 2nd lost support of his military and was abdicated and so a provisional government was created and named after the town it was formed in.
the effects of the Weimar republic were massive economic problems which caused people to starve. people were also starting to go against the government.
