Mina makes a record of Lucy's sleepwalking in her diary and notes once more that she is upset about Jonathan. Lucy attempts to cheer her with kind words and snuggling.
That night, Mina awakens to see Lucy, asleep, pointing at the window. Looking outside, she sees a giant bat circling the area.
