To demonstrate its economic power to the world, and in an attempt to monopolise the market of low-earth orbit delivery, Oceania, the economic and political powerhouse created by the union of Japan, China, Unified Korea, Australia, and the South Pacific Nations, begin the construction of the world first Space-Elevator, located in the calm waters of the South China Sea.
