The second Brussels crash, only 3 years on the heel of the first, signifies the beginning of the end of the European Union Superstate. Over the following decades the European Parliament is helpless to stop as member state after member state leaves the union. By the dawn of the new century, the EUS consists of little more than northern France, the low countries, and those German principalities that elected to remain. It will not last the new decade, Europe as an economic block falls further and further behind the United States and Oceania.
