Since this development is very old in this generation, it isn’t really used in its full form, but has been converted and added to newer much different books that use the Cannon of Medicine as a foundation for their knowledge – so it’s indirectly being used in today’s society. Due to this, trying to find recent connections of the Cannon of Medicine in the news isn’t going to happen. The closest thing that I could get to is that in March 7th, 2019, they found an Irish translation of the parts of the opening chapters to the Cannon of Medicine that had “been trimmed, folded, and snitched into the spine of a pocket-sized Latin manual about local administration”. The owners of the book had taken it to a college professor who claims he immediately knew it was an important piece. From then they took it apart and found out why the book binding was so unusual – chapters of the Cannon of Medicine were stitched into it.
