3 years later, Rory has cut all ties to all families associated with the scrax and has run away from Arkansas. But he gets a visit from Charles, who tells him it is simply fate and he should accept that. When Rory's evil version of himself comes for him during his shift at the electrical factory, there is a very complicated electrical accident. so here it is in a nutshell. The electrical accident made the real Rory bad, and the Scrax clone good. Scrax Rory figures out that he and other Rory are stuck in a time loop that only ends if they switchback, so with a heavy heart, good Rory sacrifices his sanity by luring now bad Rory to the electrical factory to switch back to save Rory as a whole. It works and now good and not scrax version of Rory locks scrax Rory in his basement to keep himself alive. But scrax Rory dies, somehow but Rory does not. Charles, (now apparently, like, the god of Scrax) tells Rory that he'll let him live because he put up a good show
