The iPhone is a line of smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. Since the release of the first generation iPhone there's been new hardware and software releases. The software used for the iPhone is iOS which is Apple's first party OS. Within the almost 11 years since the releases of iPhone 1 there's been 14 iPhones, the newest being the iPhone X which released on the 3rd of November 2017. The iPhone was one of the first smart phones that allowed games to be played on it. PS one games have been ported on to iOS. The amount of people across the world that have an iPhone is extremely large meaning that gaming is becoming more and more accessible to a wider audience that may have never played a console. This is because of the system ease of use and functionality as the device is a phone with internet access making it useful to get in contact with family which is essential these days and the games for the device are fun and additive and serve as enjoyable time consumers whiles the users is on public transport or just need to kill time.
