Suffering a number of humiliating and demoralizing defeats, the Sol Republic fell into disarray. The citizenry no longer feeling as though their government was effective at running the day to day, let alone protect them from external threat.

On the last day of the Republic a resolution passed with overwhelming majority, announcing the death of the Republic and celebrating the rise of the Unified Federation of Sol. Adopting much harsher policies on growing internal threats and locking any other potential secession down with an iron grip upon the outer sectors of the Federation this new dawn upon Sol promised stability and subsequently Utopia.
