There is development from weeks 13-16 of the sensory organs. Which includes the eyes moving closer, and the blinking motion begins. However, the eyes remain sealed shut. The lips show sucking motions. The ears are moved upward and lie flatter to the head. In addition, the scalp begins to grow hair. The excretory system is developing; kidneys are formed, meconium (feces) develops in the intestines.
