On December 6th, 2006 the Iraq Study Group, a group of notable American Government officials and other noteworthy Americans, released a report that detailed the current state of the Iraq War. It was called "grave and deteriorating" and is "caught in a mission that has no foreseeable end.". This report stated that there needed to be a drastically different approach to the war other than the current strategy that was used by the Bush Administration. (CNN)
