Hezbollah begins bombarding Israeli civilian areas including use of Grad rockets, which are seen by the Israeli public as an escalation. Israelis living in the north are warned by the Home Front Command that they have about one minute to reach shelter once warning alarms sound. About 125 rockets, including 90 9K51 Grad rockets kill two Israeli civilians and wound 67.
