On May 23, 1618, Protestants in Prague threw 3 Catholic representatives out of a window in an event known was the 1618 Defenestration of Prague. This event also marked the beginning of the Thirty Years' War, as all three representatives lived, but fell in manure, prompting a religious crisis in Europe.
