Oct. 28th, 1835 After their win streak the Texans now marched to San Antonio to fight off the last Mexicans but, as they sat in their scouting party for a few days the Mexicans were caught off guard again and the Texans won the “First real battle of the Texas road to the Revolution”. As a result, they gained enough confidence to lay siege on Bexar (San Antonio).
