4 fev 1945 ano - Yalta conference
Descrição:
This conference near the end of WW2 was for the USSR, USA and Britain to discuss what would happen once Germany was defeated and the problems that came with it. The allies aimed to create LASTING PEACE.
GERMANY: It was decided that Germany (and Berlin) would be split between the allies (USA, Britain, France and USSR) . Germany would have to pay reparations.
FORMER OCCUPIED COUNTRIES: These countries that were formerly occupied by Germany would be allowed to hold free elections. This annoyed Stalin but he also saw it as space for communism to get in.
