CBS News breaks the story of the abuse and torture of Iraqi prisoners of war on the program '60 Minuets.'

The American public learns at large of the activities of US soldiers torturing Arab Iraqi prisoners within the Abu Grhaib prison.

Such acts included the purposeful infliction of pain through dragging inmates nude along the prison floor, chaining inmates in positions to purposefully inflict pain, the threat of violence and force with attack dogs, and psychological torture through acts meant to dehumanize prisoners for guard's amusment.
