Resolved standing boundary issues between Britain and the U.S. allowing for a joint occupation of the Oregon Country. Used the 49th parallel north to give out boundaries. All land that U.S. owned above that line was ceded to Britain and all territory that Britain owned below that was ceded to the U.S.
