Tahta Kupyr. 90 rebels seized the city, smashing the Soviet institutions; 5 people became victims of "basmachs". After 2 hours, the Basmachi were driven out of the city by the Soviet detachment Gryaznov and fled to Kara-Uzyak district. On the same day, the residents of the village of Nekhem rebelled , electing Talib Musabayeva as their leader. (See also: Struggle against Basmachi in 1918-1938 )
